I am a patient and thoughtful tutor who helps IB students feel more confident with history at both standard and higher levels. I understand the demands of the IB programme, so I focus on keeping things clear and manageable. My goal is always to support you through the workload and help you reach the grade you are aiming for.
My IB history lessons are carefully planned around your chosen level and what you need most. I usually begin by finding out which topics or skills are causing trouble, then work through them with clear, simple explanations.
I help you understand key events, themes and perspectives, and show you how to use evidence effectively in your essays. We practise past paper questions to build your exam skills and help you feel more comfortable with timed writing.
I also offer focused support with your internal assessment, helping you pick a suitable question, plan your research, organise your argument and meet the marking criteria. Alongside this, I help with revision planning to balance history with your other IB subjects.
Between sessions, I set small, manageable tasks to help things stay fresh. I aim to keep lessons relaxed so you feel comfortable asking questions at any point. I track your progress across all areas and adjust our focus as deadlines come closer.
By the end of each session, you will have a better understanding and a clear next step to keep things moving.
