I am a structured and patient tutor who helps IB students succeed in both English literature and language and literature. I understand the pressures of the diploma programme and focus on making the course more manageable through clear, targeted support. My IB lessons are planned around your syllabus, deadlines and the areas you find most challenging. I usually begin by identifying your priorities, whether it is preparing for exams, revising texts or working on your internal assessment.
I help you develop precise analytical skills and structure your essays to meet the specific demands of IB marking criteria. We spend considerable time on past paper practice, focusing on timed responses and learning how to approach different question types.
For the internal assessment, I offer step-by-step support, from choosing a suitable focus to refining your final draft while ensuring your own voice comes through. I also help you create a balanced revision schedule that fits alongside your other subjects.
Between sessions, I set focused tasks to target any gaps we have identified. My lessons are paced to suit your learning style and always leave time for questions. I track your progress consistently and adapt our plan as your needs change.
