I am a calm tutor who enjoys helping students feel more comfortable with GCSE maths. I know every learner works differently, so I take time to understand how you learn best. My focus is on making tricky topics feel easy and helping you build steady progress. Having worked with many pupils, I aim to create a relaxed space where questions are always welcome. My goal is to support you towards the grade you need in a way that feels straightforward and encouraging.
My lessons are built around your priorities and the areas you find most difficult. I usually start by finding out what is worrying you most, whether it is algebra, fractions or exam technique. Then we work through those topics step by step, using clear examples and simple explanations. I believe in learning by doing, so we practise plenty of questions together before you try some on your own. I also like to revisit earlier topics to keep them fresh in your mind.
As we go along, I adjust the pace to suit you, making sure nothing feels rushed. Closer to exams, I focus on past paper practice, timing and helping you spot common question patterns. I also share small, manageable tasks to do between lessons to help things stick. My aim is always to keep things relaxed so you feel able to ask for help whenever something is unclear. I track your progress carefully and shift our focus as needed. By the end of each session, you will have a clear idea of what we have done and what to work on next.
