I am a friendly and patient tutor who enjoys helping students feel more confident with GCSE maths. As someone who speaks English, Hindi and Bengali, I am happy to explain things in the way that feels clearest for you. I focus on breaking tricky topics down into simple steps and working at a pace that suits your needs. Having supported many learners, I aim to create a supportive space where you can ask questions freely. My goal is to help you reach the grade you are aiming for with greater confidence.
My lessons are always planned around what you find most difficult and what you would like to achieve. I usually start by identifying any problem areas, whether in number work, algebra, geometry, or exam technique. Then I explain those topics in clear, straightforward terms, often using different examples until it clicks. We spend plenty of time practising questions together, building up gradually to exam-style problems. I also like to revisit earlier work to help build your understanding over time.
If you prefer, I can explain ideas in a slightly different way to suit your thinking, drawing on your ability to explain in more than one language when helpful. As exams approach, I focus heavily on past papers, timing, and helping you spot common pitfalls. I also provide small, manageable tasks to work on between sessions to keep things moving. My priority is always to make sure you feel comfortable and never rushed. I track your progress carefully and adjust our focus as needed. By the end of each session, you will have a clear sense of what you have improved and what to focus on next.
